About our Riverside sunroom contractor team
Why I build sunrooms, starting later than most
I spent most of my working life as a maintenance supervisor, and I came to building sunrooms later than most people come to a trade, which my knees will happily confirm. I learned the work alongside an installer here in Riverside, then started Sunward Riverside Sunrooms & Patios in 2023.
Most of our calls come from homeowners who want to close in a patio or deck they already have, or add a room off the back of the house. I care most about the parts you won't see once it's finished, like what the room sits on and how water is kept out where it meets the floor and the house, because a room that looks good the day we leave and leaks a year later isn't work I want to do. So we slow down and plan before anything gets built, and here in Riverside that planning includes the city permit, since the city requires one for most construction work.

What you can expect working with us
The person who measures stays for the build
I come out to look at the job, measure and talk it through with you, and I'm on site with our installers while your sunroom goes up, so nothing you told me gets lost between the estimate and the build. When a room needs electrical or heating and cooling work, we bring in licensed trades for that part.
We check what's there and plan before we quote
We look over the slab, deck or patio cover you already have before we put a number on paper, so the estimate covers what your job really needs. Then we walk you through the choices that are hard to change later, like where the doors go and how much glass you want, so the room fits how you'll actually use it.
A plain contract that says who handles permits
Your estimate and contract spell out the work and who handles the permits, in plain words you can read before you sign. When your job needs a permit, we find out which office covers your address, prepare and file the paperwork, meet the inspector on site, and tell you what we know and what's still up to the city or county.
What we hold, and what the city asks
Serving Riverside Since 2023
Fully licensed and insured
Fully licensed and insured. It's a fair thing to ask any sunroom contractor you're comparing before work starts at your house.
Riverside's business license rule
The City of Riverside requires a business working in the city to hold a valid City Business License, and a city finance page says businesses based outside the city limits may need one too. If you have questions about it, the city's Business License Division is the office that answers them.
Where we work, in Riverside and nearby
We're based in Riverside and work in many of the cities around it in Riverside County and San Bernardino County, so if you don't see yours listed, contact us and ask.
