Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Sunward Riverside Sunrooms & Patios for an estimate or for work on your house. By using the site, calling us or sending our contact form, you agree to them, so please read them before you do.
If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site. A signed contract for a specific job controls that job, and where it differs from these terms, the contract wins.
What we do
We're a sunroom contractor based in Riverside, CA. We design, build and remodel sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, solariums and patio covers for homeowners in Riverside and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on the About page and see the full list of services from our home page.
The descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information. They aren't an offer to do a particular job at a particular price. What we build for you, and how, is set out in your written estimate and contract.
Estimates and pricing
Our on-site estimates are free and obligation-free. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, including the size of the room, the materials you choose and the condition of the slab, deck or wall we'd be tying into.
Some conditions only show up once the work is open, such as damaged framing, a failing foundation or hidden water damage. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you, and give you the added cost in writing before we go further. We won't charge for extra work you haven't approved.
An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, material prices can change, so we may need to update it before we schedule the job.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll give you a start date once the contract is signed and any permits the job needs are in hand. Start and finish dates are our best estimate, because weather, permit review, inspections and material deliveries can move them, and we're not responsible for delays caused by things outside our control.
If you need to reschedule an estimate visit, just call or message us as early as you can. If you want to cancel a signed contract, California law may give you a right to cancel within a set period, and your contract will explain that right and how to use it. After that period, you're responsible for work already done and for materials ordered for your job that can't be returned.
Payment
Your contract sets out the payment schedule, including any deposit and the amounts due as the work moves along. Payments are due on the dates or stages the contract lists.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and the schedule will move to match. Anything still owed when the job is finished is due when the contract says it is.
Warranties and our satisfaction guarantee
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something we built isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and work with you to fix it.
Windows, panels, roofing and other products we install often carry their own warranty from the maker. We'll pass those warranties along to you, and the maker's terms decide what they cover.
Apart from what's written in your contract and the makers' warranties, this website and its content are provided as they are, without other promises. We don't warrant that the site will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
We're fully licensed and insured, and we stand behind the work in your contract. To the extent the law allows, Sunward Riverside Sunrooms & Patios isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, that come from using this site or from our services.
We also aren't responsible for problems caused by changes someone else makes to our work, by misuse or lack of normal upkeep, or by events outside our control like storms, earthquakes or fire. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Resolving disputes
If you're unhappy with something, please tell us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly when we can talk them through and come back out to the house.
If we can't settle it between us, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Riverside County, California, unless your contract sets out a different way to resolve it.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's laws.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a contract you've already signed with us.
If you keep using the site after a change, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
